Hands-On Learning in the Natural World

Peace Garden programs are designed to reconnect children ages 3-11 with the earth. Activities teach children about the source of the food they eat, organic gardening, and the importance of biodiversity and community. Children learn and practice peace, respect, environmental stewardship, and friendship through curriculum that aligns with Next Generation Science Standards and includes art, cooking, reading, and nature-based activities.

The people, the energy, and the beauty of the gardens feels comforting, exciting and inspiring. I am so grateful to have the opportunity to attend and share many GG events and educational classes with my children here. It is an amazing resource for our community.
