Food Resource Calendar for Boulder and Broomfield Counties

Growing Gardens is proud to be a participating member of the Boulder & Broomfield Food Security Network (FSN). The FSN is a coalition of food access advocates throughout Boulder and Broomfield Counties. In response to a need identified by the FSN and local community members, the FSN has created a helpful community calendar (below) that highlights all the food access resources within Boulder and Broomfield Counties.

As a military Veteran with six kids and a single income, I struggled with leftover “military baggage”, high stress and making ends meet. The opportunity to be part of Growing Gardens helped me regain a lot of my self and become more mentally, emotionally and physically fit—and of course, learn about and grow fresh vegetables to support my family and the community. Thank you for launching this program in Longmont and allowing my family to be part of it, and we look forward to seeing it expand for next year.
