Join us for an active week of summer camp and experience the wonders of our urban farm. We’ll tend to the garden, explore through the lens of art and science, visit our friendly goats, and make tasty snacks from the bounty of our harvests.

All camps are held Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm at our Boulder farm (1630 Hawthorn Ave.).
Camps are designed for children ages 5-11.

Camp registration closes at 9 am on the Friday before each camp week begins

We host 2 types of camps – Peace Garden Summer Camp and Goats and Gardens Camp (see pricing below). The maximum number of attendees is 60 campers per week (30 in Peace Garden Camps and 30 in Goats and Garden Camps). Campers are placed into smaller groups of 15 for daily activities. 

Payment is due in full at the time of registration, or you may choose a two-payment plan: an initial payment of $150 when you register and the remaining balance due by February 27.

Peace Garden Summer Camp

Join us for a week of discovery in our Children’s Peace Garden! Campers engage in activities like tracking pollinators through flower fields, digging into the soil to uncover important helpers, and gathering ingredients to create farm-inspired art and fresh snacks. Throughout the week, participants explore garden challenges, outdoor games, building projects, and hands-on cooking, developing skills in teamwork, problem-solving, and environmental stewardship. By week’s end, campers leave with a deeper appreciation for agriculture, nature, and community, enriched by meaningful experiences and new friendships.

Creative Roots: Art in the Garden

Early summer at the farm is a celebration of color, life, and growth—and we’re going to use it all to fuel our creativity!

Week 1: June 1st-5th – Camp Full

This week, we’ll explore the farm’s vibrant flowers, helpful honeybees and wondrous worms through skits, movement, and art made from sustainable materials. As the farm blooms, we’ll tap into our own personal growth through nature journaling, sensory explorations, and fun team-building games. Along the way, we’ll learn about the magic of pollinators, the flowers that are flourishing, and the fruits that are on the way. Our week will be packed with whimsical snacks, classic camp crafts, outdoor play, and plenty of hands-on creativity. Get ready for a colorful, imaginative adventure in nature!

Sprouts & Shovels: Growing Future Farmers

Get ready to roll up your sleeves and dive into the exciting world of farming. You’ll explore everything that makes a farm thrive, from planting seeds to harvesting crops.

Week 4: June 22nd-26th – Camp Full

Week 6: July 13th-17th

We’ll learn how regenerative practices like cover cropping, grazing goats, and companion planting help us care for the soil! Each day, we’ll get our hands dirty tending to vibrant gardens, building cool structures for our plants, and creating colorful farm inspired art. Between fun farm activities, you’ll enjoy games, hands-on challenges, and innovative projects that spark curiosity and creativity. Whether you’re discovering the magic of composting or launching seeds with a handmade catapult, every day brings a burst of new adventure on the farm!

Farm to Fork: Seasonal Summer Cuisine

It’s thyme to bring your adventurous taste buds to the farm for a week of creating tasty food from the bounty of the farm.

Week 7: July 20th-24th – Camp Full

Week 9: Aug 3rd-7th – Camp Full

We’ll spend our days harvesting from the farm and creating new, seasonal, recipes using the beautiful vegetables and juicy fruits we harvest. Come use elements of heat, time, texture, color, and leavening to create an array of savory and sweet dishes and learn basic knife skills and cooking techniques. You’ll need your wondrous curiosity in camp as you join us for this week filled with teamwork, art projects, fun games and lots of delicious food.

Goats & Gardens Summer Camp

Get ready for a fun-filled week and hands-on adventure with Goats and Gardens Summer Camp! Each day kicks off in the garden, where you’ll explore, taste, and learn about all the plants and animals on the farm. Roll up your sleeves to care for the garden and unleash your creativity by making art from nature’s wonders. Then, it’s off to the Goat Dairy, where you’ll meet the friendly goats and their trusty guardian llama, Hazel. You’ll get to care for the goat kids and learn how to milk the dairy goats. To cool off and wrap up the day, we’ll dive into water activities in the pool, gymnastics, crafts, and tons of fun gym games at the North Boulder Recreation Center.

Goats and Gardens camp offers a hands-on adventure filled with gardening, goats, creative nature art, and lively water, gymnastics, and gym activities for an unforgettable week of farm fun.

We attended two weeks of this camp this year and I cannot speak highly enough of the program. It was unique and every week had a fun, thoughtful theme. It felt wonderful dropping my kiddo off daily to play and learn in the Peace Garden. We’ll definitely be back next summer, so glad to have found this gem of a camp experience!
