Instructor:
Tim Villard, Growing Gardens: Tim Villard is the Food Project Manager at Growing Gardens. Tim, a resident of Longmont, is most curious about the shared health of people and the planet. While he pursued education in environmental conservation and wetland ecology, he found a real passion for growing food here in the Front Range. Since arriving in Colorado in 2011, Tim has been actively growing food in home gardens, school gardens, community gardens, and farms. He now manages the 1-acre Food Project Farm in Longmont, a community centered farm that invites residents of Longmont to participate in growing and eating from the farm, and distributes all the food at no cost, or low cost to Longmont residents.
