Hawthorn Community Garden is located at 16th and Hawthorn. If driving, the directions from Broadway are: Turn east on Iris. Take Iris to 16th and turn south (right). At Hawthorn turn east (left) and the Community Gardens will be in the open space on your right. Park on Hawthorn and walk on the path past the Greenhouse into the Community Gardens. The Hawthorn Community Garden is bordered on two sides by the North Boulder Recreation Center Bike/Walk path. The Hawthorn Community Garden is 1/8 of a mile due east from the North Boulder Recreation Center on the path. View the rules and regulations here.
2024 Registration Updates
On February 15th, 2024, Growing Gardens will offer unregistered plots to waitlisted gardeners, beginning with the first gardener on the waitlist and continuing down the waitlist until all remaining plots are filled. Eligible waitlisted individuals will be emailed a link to register for available plots and given three days to do so. This rolling enrollment will continue until all plots are filled.
