Ingredients

  • 1 Premade Pie Shell, unbaked
  • 1 Cup Shredded Mozzarella
  • 2 Cups Sliced Tomatoes (whole and/or cherry)
  • 2 Tbsp Crumbled Basil
  • 7 Large Eggs
  • 1/4 Cup Milk
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
  • Pinch of Nutmeg

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Sprinkle shredded cheese onto the base of your pie shell. Layer tomato slices and basil over the cheese.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and nutmeg until light and fluffy. Pour egg mixture over the toppings in your quiche.
  4. Place onto a baking tray and into the oven. Bake for 35-4o minutes until golden brown with no liquid remaining on the top.
  5. Cool slightly before cutting and serving.
