Education - Teach community members of all ages, abilities and income levels on a broad range of life skills topics, including agriculture, leadership, mentoring, and entrepreneurship. Increase awareness and participation in organic gardening through site tours, lecture and workshops.
3.
Facilitation – Provide space for community gardening in an urban setting; and enable individuals to discover the beauty of the natural world, take part in fun, recreational family activities and strengthen the local food system.
4.
Fostering Community - Create opportunities for diverse residents to work together and develop partnerships with many local organizations in order to build a healthier community. Partner with outside agencies in order to provide both food production opportunities, as well as education and general community enrichment.
